Application
These rules and regulations (the “Rules”) shall apply to the online contest at “RadioSurvey.ca” (the “Contest”).
Eligibility
The Contest is open to legal residents of British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec who are at least thirteen (13) years of age, other than individuals employed by any licensed Radio Broadcaster or members of their immediate families (father, mother, brother, sister, son, daughter or spouse) or any individual with who such employee resides. Participants who are below the age of majority in their province of residence must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, and their acceptance of these Rules, in order to participate in the Contest and receive any prize.
How to Enter and Contest Period
There is no purchase necessary to enter the Contest.
Enter the Contest by completing the radio listening survey in full, only available during the periods set out below at https://radiosurvey.ca. After successfully completing and submitting survey responses, entrants will automatically be entered into the Contest.
British Columbia – February 24 at 12:01am – March 16 at 11:59pm
Quebec – March 10 at 12:01am – March 30 at 11:59pm
Ontario – March 16 at 12:01am – April 6 at 11:59pm
Prizes
The following prizes will be awarded:
Grand Prize – One (1) prize of $5,000 in cash will be awarded on April 30th, 2025, at 12pm Pacific from all eligible entries received during the survey period.
Winner will be chosen by random draw.
Upon being declared a potential winner, the entrant will be required to answer, unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question. Upon correctly answering that question, and executing and delivering the provided release form, the potential winner will be declared the winner.
Transferability
No Prize may be transferred to any third party.
Odds of Winning
The odds of winning the Contest are dependent on the number of valid entries received during the survey period. Only one entry from each survey respondent will be allowed.
Liability
The winner must agree to sign a standard release prior to claiming the prize, a form of which will be provided to the potential winner, and may be required to show valid identification with date of birth to prove eligibility to participate in the Contest. Potential winners who are below the age of majority in their province of residence must have a parent or legal guardian sign a standard release on their behalf prior to claiming the prize.
Notwithstanding the execution or provision of the aforementioned standard release, each entrant (including the parent or legal guardian of entrants below the age of majority in their province of residence) and any potential or declared winner, by participating in any entering the Contest, releases Validate Audio Attribution, operated by Momentum Media Marketing Inc. (“Momentum”), and their owners, subsidiaries, contractors, affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies, their shareholders, officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives (hereinafter the “Beneficiaries”) from any and all liability for any and all damage, loss or liability suffered as a result of or arising from the entrant’s participation in the Contest or the acceptance of any Contest prize. In order to be declared a winner and prior to obtaining the prize, any potential or declared winner agrees to sign a declaration to such effect in the release form.
Facebook and Instagram Contests:
All contests held by Momentum that are promoted via Facebook or Instagram are in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, either Facebook or Instagram. By entering the Contest, you release both Facebook and Instagram for any and all damages you may incur through entering the Contest or through the collection of the prize.
Release of Privacy Rights
By entering the Contest, each declared winner consents to the Contest organizers and their representatives using, at their sole discretion and if required, their name, photograph, likeness, place of residence and/or voice without compensation whatsoever and that, without limit as for the period of use, in any media and on a worldwide scale, for publicity purposes or for any purpose that may be considered relevant. By entering the Contest, contestants consent to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal information as Momentum deems necessary to facilitate the administration of the Contest.
General
Momentum reserves the right, at their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest, in whole or in part, in the case of the occurrence of an event, an error or any human intervention that could corrupt or affect the administration, safety, impartiality or the running of the Contest as provided in these Rules.
All decisions of Momentum or those of their representatives regarding this Contest are final and binding.
Momentum assumes no responsibility for misdirected entries, or for any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay in computer internet systems used to enter the Contest.
The winner also agrees to abide by the rules and regulations for pick up or delivery of any prize won, any such rules to be provided by Momentum for a particular Contest prize.
This Contest is subject to applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and is void where prohibited.
Quebec Entries
For residents of Quebec, any litigation concerning the conduct or administration of this Contest may be submitted to the Régie des Alcools, des Courses et Des Jeux (the “Régie”) for a ruling. Any litigation concerning the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Regie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
