We’re looking for a dynamic account executive to develop advertising and marketing business for our trade publications serving the media & telecom sectors in Canada.

About You
  • You are accustomed to working on commission as part of your compensation package
  • You want to be part of a team that values your help growing the success of the company
  • You are bold, ambitious, tech-savvy, with a strong vision on how vendor clients can use trade media to grow their business
  • You are passionate about media and telecom with direct experience and extensive contacts in these areas
  • You thrive in non-hierarchical environments where proven processes, long-term relationships, and strategy driven programs and tactics are the norm
  • You are comfortable using online-based CRM and project management tools
  • You may view this as a part-time opportunity or an addition to your current portfolio

Requirements
  • Outgoing, confident, and a desire to succeed and deliver for your clients
  • Strong organization, time management, and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to forge strong internal and client-side working relationships
  • Familiarity with CRM and project management software
  • Minimum of 3 years media marketing experience (station, agency, or client-side)
  • Background in digital marketing (with traditional marketing skills an asset)
  • Excellent presentation and writing skills
  • University degree, diploma, or experience in a related field
